How to Apply
CAVIAT Central Programs begin with a high school student letting their counselor know they are interested in a certain program offering. The first step is to fill out the CAVIAT application (click on the blue button to your right) indicating the program of study the student is interested in. Once your application is submitted an email will be sent to the parent and student from CAVIAT explaining next steps in the registration process.
CAVIAT offers several priority registration events and open houses during the second semester either at the high school and/or the community college campus. Students must also gain admission to the community college for programs offering instruction and/or dual or concurrent enrollment credits.
Once the student has been admitted to the community college the college may require a computer placement test, depending on the program of study a student has selected. Students are required to meet all the college requirements to gain admission and placement into a selected program of study.
Once all the above has been completed, the student will be notified of their acceptance into the program, or that they have been placed on a waiting list.
