How to Apply
CAVIAT Central Programs begin with a high school sophomore or junior letting their counselor know they are interested in a certain program offering. The first step is to fill out a CAVIAT application indicating the program of study the student is interested in. CAVIAT offers several parent orientation nights during the second semester either at the high school and/or the community college campus. Students must gain admission to the community college offering the instruction and credit.
Once the student has been admitted to the community college the college may require a computer placement test, depending on the program of study a student has selected. Students are required to meet all the college requirements to gain admission and placement into a selected program of study.
Once all the above has been completed, the student will be notified of their acceptance into the program of that they have been placed on a waiting list.
CAVIAT satellite program enrollment occurs during the high school registration process.
