About Us
CAVIAT is distinguishing itself as an innovative leader attuned to workforce needs, working in partnership with business, industry and the community college. The educational opportunities fill an essential niche and create relevance in education for many students seeking careers and/or higher education beyond high school.
CAVIAT was established in 2001. It’s funding comes from two sources: state appropriations and secondary property taxes from homeowners in the 5 school districts that comprise CAVIAT. The member school districts include: Flagstaff, Fredonia, Grand Canyon, Page and Williams. It is one of 13 voter approved, joint technological education districts throughout Arizona.

Provide students with the opportunity to acquire career related skills and ethics needed to become responsible members of society.

- Collaborating and coordinating resources
- Expanding training experiences
- Providing opportunities for students to showcase their accomplishments
